报告人简介
Dr. Regina Betz is Joint Head of the Energy Policy Analysis Group at the School of Management and Law of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and Research Coordinator at the Centre for Energy and Environmental Markets (CEEM) at the UNSW Australia in Sydney. Her teaching and research interests include energy and climate economics. She also contributes to master courses and consults to industry and government clients in these areas in Europe and Australia. She has been regularly called to appear as an expert witness in climate change issues at various Federal government enquiries. Today her research is mainly focusing on the design of climate policies such as emissions trading schemes or energy efficiency obligations as well as electricity markets applying experimental economics or empirical methods. Her publications appear in Climate Policy, Ecological Economics, Global Environmental Change, Journal of Regulatory Economics, The Economic Journal.
